The RSD15 locomotives were designed to be "Jack-of-all-trades" on America's railroads: they were suited for high-speed mainline freight and passenger assignments as well as slow-speed heavy drag service. They were also able to handle medium-speed local freight runs as well as yard switching and transfer service.
Our model will follow the proto-type's example and perform those chores in a similar, efficient manner on HO layouts.
